Hi, I’m Kim, owner and photographer at kim culbert photography.
I have 
a wonderful husband, who I’ve been lucky to have had by my side since 2001, and two crazy, fun-loving boys.
Although life can be hectic at times, I love nothing more than sitting around a campfire with friends, walking in the forest with my boys, or sipping hot chocolate watching a storm roll in.
I’ve been doing portrait photography since 2007, focusing mainly on maternity, newborns and families. It started as a side-job when I was also working at a local television station but as times changed my job was “repositioned” in 2009 and I was looking for a new job. At the time I was sad to be leaving behind a great job with a great station, but it gave me the push I needed to start my photography business full time. So, YAY for being laid off!
My ideal session is one where we all have fun capturing the characters and spirits of everyone involved, and you go away satisfied and holding on to some memories of these exact moments.

Thank you so much for your inquiry, and I am so sorry that I am just getting back to you now. I was off on holidays, enjoying the summer. I am back now, and wondering if you are still looking for a maternity/ newborn photographer. I have time in the next few weeks, if you are still looking, and I do have a package for Maternity and Newborn sessions together (the Belly and Baby Package). The package is $700.00, split between the two sessions, and with your session you get 20 digital files from each session, 10 4×6 prints from each session, and a custom digital birth announcement. Congratulations on your pregnancy… I hope you’ve been feeling well so far!
My newborn session fee is $100.00, due on the day of the shoot, and then after you’ve seen your online gallery you can choose which images you’d like to order. I have packages that range from $100.00 to $750.00, with the most popular choice being the Platinum Package which is $400.00.
I provide all the blankets, hats, backdrops, buckets, but if you’d like to bring anything along to incorporate that is great too. The session includes shots of your baby alone, with you, and with dad, and if there are any siblings that you would like to include. My online viewing galleries are usually between 60-80 images to choose from.
