The Magic of the Season – Coquitlam Family Photography

It’s been a while since I’ve had a boy in the studio, and it was well worth the wait. Little Mr. W was a superstar for our session, and lucky for me, only wanted to poop on daddy. (sorry Brian!) I loved all his hair, and his sweet smiles that he would share with us throughout the session … just never when I had the camera ready.
I had such a hard time choosing the selection for this post, so I went a little overboard — but can you really ever go overboard with cuteness?

A Baby Girl in the Family – Coquitlam Newborn Photographer
When Maria contacted me to tell me she was pregnant, I asked if she knew what she was having. I was secretly hoping in my head that it would be a little girl, as their family already consists of two wonderful boys. I was so happy for them when she told me it was going to be a girl, but she also said that her first son was said to be a girl from the ultrasound, so they were really hoping it was right this time.
It was, and little Miss F is precious. She is going to be well protected by her big brothers, and well loved by the whole family.

Waiting on an October surprise – Coquitlam Maternity Photographer
I and A are so excited to be welcoming a little girl into the world sometime in the next few weeks. If they are anywhere near as prepared for the birth as they were for our maternity shoot, this little girl’s entrance is going to be smooth sailing! Mom-to-be had so many amazing outfits, and great ideas for our shoot… I especially loved the gum!
Enjoy your teasers, and I can’t wait to meet your little one….
Into their hearts – Coquitlam Newborn Photographer
This gorgeous girl was a superstar for our session, and although she made me work getting her to sleep (I had to laugh when mom brought her in and told me she was a “day owl” and never liked to sleep during the day) I think we got some amazing shots of her. They brought some great props (they are big Raiders fans, and Dad admitted that he’s got a bit of a shoe addiction.) and we managed to move her around without waking her up too many times.

Sweetness – Burnaby Newborn Photography
Little Baby A was such a superstar for our shoot. She slept like a dream, she woke up for some amazing eye contact, and then went back to sleep for some more great snuggles. I love it when the parents take a little look at how I’ve posed their baby and little sighs of pleasure escape them… mom even had to snap a quick phone shot to send to dad, who couldn’t make it to the shoot.

Dream, baby, dream – Coquitlam Newborn Photographer
You might remember this post I had a few weeks back about how Baby Makes 4? Well, A & M had a little boy to compliment their family. Big sister H is ready to show her little brother all that the world has to offer, and mom and dad are over the moon with the addition.
Little Mr. P was a perfect gentleman during our shoot, sleeping like a dream and letting me put him in all sorts of baskets and different wrappings.

Mommy and Me Mini Sessions – Coquitlam Studio Photography
As a mom, I know that I don’t always feel like having my photo taken. I’m tired, I’ve probably got some food substance stuck to my clothes, and my mind is running through various endings to how the latest “adventure” my sons are trying to achieve via superhero capes and couch jumping is actually going to end.
But, as I look back in our photo albums from the past few years, I realize that I have been missing. I am the photo-taker, the organizer, the one that gets everyone else ready and is overlooked in our family photos. I want to have photos of me, enjoying my kids, enjoying the moments when they are little, for us to look back on in the years to come. I want my kids to have photos to remember me, at this age, at this stage.
I am offering Mommy and Me mini sessions on May 24th to capture this time, these moments in your life with your little ones. The sessions will be 15 minutes (just long enough to capture some great emotions, expressions, moments and then send you on your way with some home baked goods.) and you will receive 2 digital images with a print release, and a password protected online viewing gallery with your session images. All a la carte prints and digital files will be discounted for this promotion – 50% off the regular prices which can be found by visiting my website, www.kimculbert.com – Pricing.
Please contact me if you have any more questions, or if you would like to book your session. Let your man know if this is something that you would like as a Mother’s Day gift and get him to contact me at kim@kimculbert.com. Bookings are limited, and it’s first come, first served. There are approx. 10 sessions in this time frame.
Take the leap and capture yourself with your children… they’ll thank you for it later.
