I had the pleasure of photographing K & R’s two kids from birth, and now their youngest has just turned one. We met on a sunny evening at Osprey Village in Pitt Meadows to capture some moments of their family in the now. They are such lovely people, inside and out.

This sweet couple contacted me in the summer to book their maternity session for September. They knew that they wanted an outdoor session, and Deer Lake Park was the perfect choice with the variety of backdrops within easy walking distance. We had a great time strolling down the paths, and along the boardwalk, and I could tell that this couple were made for each other. They always had smiles on their faces.
She is just so stunning.
And then, at the start of November, exactly on her due date, little Mister N decided to show up. Full of a dark head of hair, 10 fingers, 10 toes and the perfect little mouth, baby N was a dream to photograph. He slept the entire time, and saved all his pee for after the session.

I got the call just last Friday that a new little boy had come into the world and the parents were looking for someone to take his newborn shots. Luckily, I was able to meet with them on Tuesday, when Mr. T was just about 2 weeks old, which is the perfect time for sleepy newborns.
Mr.T was a perfect gentleman, letting me pose him while he spent the morning dreaming. We also headed out to the trails around my home.. there will be some interesting photos coming up on the blog next week! Stay tuned, and in the meantime here is a sneak peek… enjoy! 
This warm spring weather has been amazing for late afternoon photography sessions and I had the pleasure of capturing the special time for my friend as she creates a new life. I love shoot pregnant mamas, as the human body is truly amazing, and I find it so captivating to photograph those special moments before a baby is born.
The Coquitlam River and forest was a gorgeous backdrop for our session. Please enjoy the teasers:
The weather this April has been amazing… like a preview to summer. It was perfect conditions for a wonderful family session out on the Port Coquitlam Dyke along the Pitt River.
The sun was glinting through the leaves, and the kids were having a good time blowing on the dandelion fluff alongside the path. These kids were so great, and truly had a fun time with each other throughout our session. I love the carefree attitudes that make a session fly by.
When O’s mom contacted me to shoot her daughter’s birthday session, I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but I thought it would be a lot of fun. Sure enough, O brought her great friend P, and the two of them had a blast posing, laughing and making memories. It brought me back to my childhood days, having fun with my girlfriends. So, not only was I able to capture these moments for this duo, but I got to relive some of the charm of being 13.

This time of year, it’s all about family.
Autumn is such a wonderful time of year… the leaves are changing, the air has a bite to it, and it’s okay to bundle under warm, cozy sweaters and curl up by the fire.
It seems to be one of my most busiest seasons, as the scenery is just too gorgeous. And then you add redheads into the mix, and it’s mind-blowing! What a combination! We lucked out with a foggy morning adding some cool atmosphere into the mix, and some great sun later.

This family is so full of love… they’ve got it going on!
These friends of mine, they have a gorgeous family. The issue was that the last family picture they have is when their youngest, Mr. C, was just a baby. Skip ahead 4 years and it was time for an update.
The fall day was bright, but cold, and Mr. C wasn’t having any of it. The outtakes from this session were priceless, as the expressions on Mr. C’s face had a variety of moods. In the end, I got some great smiles from him, and got a new family photo for the wall.
